BIBLICAL KEYS FOR PERSONAL GROWTH (1)
Read: PROVERBS 16:1-33
Meditation verse:
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with
My eye” (Psalm 32:8)
Here are some biblical principles to adopt this year if you desire personal growth and advancement.
PREPARE YOUR HEART TO HEAR FROM GOD DAILY: Proverbs 3:5-8 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, and strength to your bones”. Proverbs 16: 3 says “Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established”. Be intentional about seeking guidance from God before you begin each day. Isaiah 50: 4 says “the Lord God has given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him who is weary. He awakens me morning by morning; He awakens my ear to hear as the learned”. The patriarchs of old heard from God, Jesus Christ instructed His disciples, and after He left, He sent the Holy Spirit to the church. Allow the Holy Spirit to speak to your heart and give you the wisdom and clarity you need to navigate the day before you step out.
FIND AND DO GOOD WORK: When God created the first man, He said “be fruitful, multiply and fill the earth. Bring for abundantly in the earth and multiply it. Psalm 104 is a beautiful Psalm that highlights the beauty and providence of God who created all things and put all things in its proper place. Verses 22-23 say, “When the sun rises, the lions gather and lie down in their dens. And man goes out to his work and to his labour until the evening”. Ecclesiastes 11:6 says, “In the morning sow your seed, and in the evening do not withhold your hand; for you do not know which will prosper, either this or that, or whether both alike will be good”. Hard work is honourable and well pleasing to God. It is the primary means for you growth and advancement. 1 Thessalonians 4:11 -12 says, “that you also aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you, that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and that you may lack nothing”.

Have you asked Jesus Christ to come into your heart?
He says in Mathew 11:28, “come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” He longs to give you rest."
Would you like to do so now? Here’s a prayer you can say:
Dear Jesus, I believe that You died to save me from all my sins. Today, I invite you into my heart and I accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Please forgive all my sins and help me to live my life for You.
If you prayed this prayer, send me an email at rockteachingministry@gmail.com
I would love to pray with you personally and send you a copy of my book; ‘Living the Life’ to encourage you as you begin your new life in Christ.
