YOUR REDEMPTIVE REALITY
Read: Ephesians 2:1-21
Meditation verse:
“But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ” (Ephesians 2:13)
Understanding the transaction that took place when you were saved, and walking in your redemptive reality are essential to living a victorious Christian life. Today’s reading highlights the transaction that took place at salvation: – “We were dead in trespasses and sins, walking according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, alienated from God, without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ, saved us by His grace, and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. But now in Christ Jesus we have been brought near by the blood of Christ, reconciled to God and having access by one Spirit to the Father”.
“There is therefore now no condemnation” (Romans 8:1). You are now the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:21). God has not given you the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). The Holy Spirit who is the Helper, Intercessor, advocate, teacher, and counsellor lives inside you. You are more than a conqueror and are enabled to do all things through Christ who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13). This is your redemptive reality.
Sadly, too many believers have been blinded to this reality by the enemy. We still live in a state of condemnation and fear. Hosea 4:6 says, “my people perish for lack of knowledge”. Wake up to your redemptive rights. You are now a new creation. You have been translated from the kingdom of darkness into His marvellous light. You are justified and empowered to live an abundant life. You have been redeemed from the curse of the law. You are free! Walk in this consciousness in this new month. Happy new month!

Have you asked Jesus Christ to come into your heart?
He says in Mathew 11:28, “come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” He longs to give you rest."
Would you like to do so now? Here’s a prayer you can say:
Dear Jesus, I believe that You died to save me from all my sins. Today, I invite you into my heart and I accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Please forgive all my sins and help me to live my life for You.
