YOU JUST DO NOT KNOW
Read: Ecclesiastes 11:1-7
Meditation verse:
“As you do not know what the way of the wind is, or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child, so you do not know the works of God who makes everything” (Ecclesiastes 11:5).
I had a funny experience with a young lady who works with me on several of my projects. I usually would transfer some money into her account after each project, even before I got paid for the job. But on this occasion, I purposed in my heart to give her a much more significant amount than I usually would do. So, I decided to defer her payments until I received payments for the job. However, when she did not receive her money as usual, she decided to send me a reminder for her usual payments; she had no idea, the plans I had for her.
As I pondered on this experience, it was impressed in my heart that in pretty much the same way, we fret and get restless, when we do not get the answers, we expect to receive from God. We are completely unaware of the plans that He has for us. Ecclesiastes 11:5 says, “as you do not know what the way of the wind is, or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child, so you do not know the works of God who makes everything”. God specialises in working behind the scenes of your life to perfect that which concerns you. He has information which you do not have. When you do not receive as expected, He just might be preparing something bigger and better for you which would make what you are expecting seem like peanuts.
He says the plans He has for your future are plans to prosper you and give you hope, not to harm you. (Jeremiah 29:11). Give God a break and give yourself a break. Stop fretting and start trusting. Everything is working out for your good.

Have you asked Jesus Christ to come into your heart?
He says in Mathew 11:28, “come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” He longs to give you rest."
Would you like to do so now? Here’s a prayer you can say:
Dear Jesus, I believe that You died to save me from all my sins. Today, I invite you into my heart and I accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Please forgive all my sins and help me to live my life for You.
If you prayed this prayer, send me an email at rockteachingministry@gmail.com
I would love to pray with you personally and send you a copy of my book; ‘Living the Life’ to encourage you as you begin your new life in Christ.
