TIME TO DISPLAY CRAZY FAITH
The Rock Teaching Ministry Read: Luke 8:43-47
Meditation verse:
“Came from behind and touched the border of His garment. And immediately her flow of blood stopped” (Luke 8:44)
The woman with the issue of blood was displaying crazy faith when she pushed through the crowd, reached out from behind and touched the hem of Jesus’ garments. Prior to that time, no one had been healed by touching His garment. So how did she know? Crazy faith. The four friends who let their paralytic friend down the roof because they couldn’t gain access through the door, were displaying crazy faith. Blind Bartimaeus who kept screaming at the top of his voice to get the attention of Jesus, despite being told to keep quiet, was displaying crazy faith. Zacchaeus who climbed a sycamore tree to get a glimpse of Jesus, was displaying crazy faith.
What does this say about those who display crazy faith? They are very desperate for a change in their situation. They are tired of the status quo or are at the end of the rope. They have identified the one who can help them and are ready to defy all odds to reach their helper.
