HE IS THE PROMISE KEEPER
READ: PSALM 37:1-6
MEDITATION VERSE
“Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart” (Psalm 37:4).
The bible says that God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. He may not show up when you think He should, but He will show up in His own time. And His time is the right time. He always keeps His promise. Once He has promised, it is as good as done. 1 Kings 8:56 says “there hath not failed one word of all His good promise”. Psalm 119:89 says, “forever o Lord, Thy word is settled in heaven”. Isaiah 40:8 says. “the word of God shall stand forever”. Isaiah 55:1011 says that God’s word shall not return to Him void but shall accomplish what He pleases and shall prosper in the things for which He sent it.
What has God promised you in His word? He promised to be with you always. He promised to help you. He promised to heal all your diseases and deliver your life from destruction. He promised to lift you up and prosper the works of your hands. He promised to give you the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. He promised to teach your children and give them peace. He promised to satisfy you with long life. “God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? (Numbers 23:19).
You can always count on His word, but you have a part to play. And that part is faith. Faith is “the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1). And “without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him” (Hebrews 11:6). Just because you cannot see it, does not mean He won’t do it. Learn to live by faith.

Have you asked Jesus Christ to come into your heart?
He says in Mathew 11:28, “come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” He longs to give you rest."
Would you like to do so now? Here’s a prayer you can say:
Dear Jesus, I believe that You died to save me from all my sins. Today, I invite you into my heart and I accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Please forgive all my sins and help me to live my life for You.
If you prayed this prayer, send me an email at rockteachingministry@gmail.com
I would love to pray with you personally and send you a copy of my book; ‘Living the Life’ to encourage you as you begin your new life in Christ.
