STEP INTO YOUR GOD-GIVEN AUTHORITY

Read: EPHESIANS 4:7-16

 

Meditation verse:

“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers” (Ephesians 4:11)

 

God knew you long before you were born. He planned for you with a purpose in mind and equipped you with gifts and talents to help you fulfil your assignment. These gifts make you unique and set you apart from others. 

 

Joshua had a discerning spirit to see beyond what others saw in the Promised Land. Moses carried a rod that symbolized authority to deliver Israel from Egypt. Esther’s beauty and grace positioned her as queen to save her people. Samson had supernatural strength, Solomon unmatched wisdom, Joseph the ability to interpret dreams, and Peter the gift of persuasive oratory that brought thousands to Christ in a single day.

 

Your gifts are God’s deposit in you to benefit others and expand His kingdom. Sadly, many people pass through life unaware of this truth and live below their potential. You were created to add value to others and impact your world. When you neglect or ignore your gifts, not only do you lose, but those around you also lose.  In your assignment, is your consignment (your wealth, purpose, wellbeing and fulfilment)

 

Are you aware of your gifts? Have you stepped into your God-given authority? Are you functioning in your God-ordained sphere of influence? Perhaps the reason you feel unfulfilled is that you are not walking in alignment with your gifts and assignment. Fulfilment comes when you discover, develop, and deploy what God has placed in you. Why not ask God to open your eyes to see the gifts He has placed in you, help you to step boldly into your calling and use your gifts to serve others for His glory.

He says in Mathew 11:28, “come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” He longs to give you rest."
