STEP INTO YOUR AUTHORITY
Read: EPHESIANS 4:7-16
Meditation verse:
“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers” (Ephesians 4:11)
God knew you long before you were born or even conceived. He thought about you and planned for you because He has a purpose in mind for you. He has equipped you with talents and gifts to help you accomplish your assignment. These talents make you unique and set you apart from the pack.
He gave Joshua a discerning spirit so he could see what others couldn’t see in the promise land. Little wonder, he went on to the lead God’s people into that land. Moses had a rod to accomplish his assignment of leading the people out of Egypt and Esther had beauty and grace which won her the position of the queen of Persia to save the entire Jewish nation from the wicked plot of Haman. Samson had strength to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines, Solomon had great wisdom to rule a great nation, Joseph had the gift of interpreting dreams no other person could interpret and Peter had the gift of persuasive oratory. He delivered a single message and about three thousand people were converted immediately.
Your gift is the authority that God has given to you to benefit mankind and expand His kingdom. Sadly, many people pass through life unaware of this fact. They end up less than what God intended for them. As a man or a woman created by God, you were created to add value to the lives of those around you and impact your world. When you are unaware of your gifts and assignment or fail to take it seriously, nobody wins. It becomes the loss to those around you as well as yours.
Are you aware of your gifts? Have you stepped into your authority? Are you operating in your designated sphere of influence? This may well be the reason you feel stuck and unfulfilled. If you want to live a more fulfilling and wholesome life, discover your gifts and talents, step into the place of your authority and begin to fulfil the purpose for which you were put on earth.

Have you asked Jesus Christ to come into your heart?
He says in Mathew 11:28, “come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” He longs to give you rest."
Would you like to do so now? Here’s a prayer you can say:
Dear Jesus, I believe that You died to save me from all my sins. Today, I invite you into my heart and I accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Please forgive all my sins and help me to live my life for You.
If you prayed this prayer, send me an email at rockteachingministry@gmail.com
I would love to pray with you personally and send you a copy of my book; ‘Living the Life’ to encourage you as you begin your new life in Christ.
