GOD’S REFORMATION AGENDA (2)
Read: Mathew 16:17-19
Meditation verse:
“And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” (Mathew 16:19)
- Your sphere of influence provides an avenue for you to multiply your resources and be blessed. It is a fulfilment of God’s promises in your life. “In blessing I will bless you, in multiplying, I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore, and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies” (Gen 22:17). It is an avenue for God to release His blessings on you. Where in your life do you see much growth and fruitfulness?
- Your sphere of influence is your ‘point of reference’. It is the place where you have become known for something. In Numbers chapter 22, Balak the king wanted Balaam to curse the people of Israel because he was afraid of their prosperity. He sent messengers to Balaam saying “for I know that he whom you bless is blessed. On which soil are you leaving the most footprints? Where are you leaving a legacy?
- Lastly, your sphere of influence is your Rehoboth: ‘a place of reduced conflict’ (Gen 26.22). Since God has allotted it as a place for you to dominate, He will fight for you, against any contender. So, where do you exert the least effort, yet reap the most gain? Your designated sphere is ‘your sweet spot’. Several people are frustrated by a lack of progress because they are operating outside their sphere. Some are extending to the sphere of others, and others are clueless and not operating within any sphere.
God has given us the keys of the kingdom; whatever we bind on earth is bound in Heaven. You need to operate within your designated sphere to successfully utilize this dominion mandate. So, identify your sphere and plug into God’s reformation agenda.

Have you asked Jesus Christ to come into your heart?
He says in Mathew 11:28, “come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” He longs to give you rest.
Would you like to do so now? Here’s a prayer you can say:
Dear Jesus, I believe that You died to save me from all my sins. Today, I invite you into my heart and I accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Please forgive all my sins and help me to live my life for You.
If you prayed this prayer, send me an email at rockteachingministry@gmail.com. I would love to pray with you personally and send you a copy of my book; ‘Living the Life’ to encourage you as you begin your new life in Christ.
I look forward to hearing from you.
