BIBLICAL INSIGHTS FOR LIVING A FULFILLED LIFE

Read: ECCLESIASTES 11:1-6

Meditation verse:

“For we dare not class ourselves with those who commend themselves. But they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise” (2 Corinthians 10:12).

Ø Do not compare yourself with others or judge yourself by their standards (2 Corinthians 10:12). Comparison is a joy killer.

Ø Each day is a gift from God. Be grateful to Him and expect the best (Psalm 118:24).

Ø In all your undertakings, start from where you are and make use of what you have, no matter how insignificant it may seem. Do not despise the day of small beginnings. (Zechariah 4:10). The end of a thing is better than its beginning.

Ø Commit your plans to God, do your best and you will succeed (Proverbs 16:3).

Ø Do not judge your circumstances based on what you can see. You never know what God is up to. (Ecclesiastes 11:5)

Ø Humility will attract God’s favour, so be humble. (Proverbs 3:34, 22:4).

Ø Hard work and diligence will take you far. Make integrity and consistency your watchword. Let your word be your bond ((Proverbs 22:29, Mathew 5:37).

Ø Have a short/medium/long term financial plan. Save for the rainy day (Proverbs 6:6-8).

Ø Have a mentor and be a mentor. In the multitude of counsel, there is safety (Proverbs 11:14, 15:22)

Ø You may fail sometimes. When this happens, learn your lesson, and move on (Proverbs 24:16).

Ø Strive to maintain a balance in your life. Take responsibility for it (Ecclesiastes 3:1-9).

Ø Listen twice as much as you speak. If you can’t improve on the silence, don’t speak (James 1:19).

Ø Don’t bottle-up issues. Politely let others know if you find their actions offensive (Mathew 18:15).

Ø Be willing to let go of little things and forgive easily. Remember you have been forgiven by the Lord (Colossians 3:13)

Ø Do to others as you would like them to do to you (Luke 6:31)

Ø Be generous. Give to others, especially to the less privileged (Proverbs 28:27). The Lord blesses those who remember the poor.

Ø Success has many friends, but failure is a loner (Proverbs 14:20, 19:4).

Ø Ease up and learn to laugh at yourself sometimes. A merry heart is like medicine (Proverbs 17:22).

Ø There is joy in being content with what you have (1Timothy 6:6).  Why worry when you can pray (Philippians 4:6)

IN HIS PRESENCE is written by Oke Chinye.
Have you asked Jesus Christ to come into your heart?

He says in Mathew 11:28, “come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” He longs to give you rest."

Would you like to do so now? Here’s a prayer you can say:
Dear Jesus, I believe that You died to save me from all my sins. Today, I invite you into my heart and I accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Please forgive all my sins and help me to live my life for You.

If you prayed this prayer, send me an email at rockteachingministry@gmail.com

I would love to pray with you personally and send you a copy of my book; ‘Living the Life’ to encourage you as you begin your new life in Christ.
