ACTIONS AND CONSEQUENCES

Read: Galatians 6:7-9

Meditation verse:

“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap” (Galatians 6:7)

The law of sowing and reaping is clearly highlighted in the bible. Scriptures makes us understand there is always a reaping time for whatever is sown and what is reaped is like what is sown. Genesis 8:22 says “while the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, and day and night shall not cease”. Galatians 6:7-9 says “do not be deceived, God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh, will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit, will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. Newtons third law of motion states that “for every action in nature, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Knowing the above to be true, would the seeds you are currently sowing in every area of your life yield the desired fruits? Would you be happy with the harvest, when the time comes for you to reap what you have sown? You cannot plant seeds of a kind and expect to reap fruits of a different kind. If you do not like what you have reaped or are reaping in your marriage, check what you are sowing into the life of your spouse. If you do not like what you are reaping in your finances, check what you are sowing. If you dislike what you are reaping in your body, check what you are sowing into it. Check every area of your life and change your seeds if you need to. “A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit” (Mathew 7:18). It’s as simple as that.

IN HIS PRESENCE is written by Oke Chinye.
Have you asked Jesus Christ to come into your heart?

He says in Mathew 11:28, “come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” He longs to give you rest."

Would you like to do so now? Here’s a prayer you can say:
Dear Jesus, I believe that You died to save me from all my sins. Today, I invite you into my heart and I accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Please forgive all my sins and help me to live my life for You.

If you prayed this prayer, send me an email at rockteachingministry@gmail.com

I would love to pray with you personally and send you a copy of my book; ‘Living the Life’ to encourage you as you begin your new life in Christ.
