IT’S ALL IN THE PACKAGE
The Rock Teaching Ministry Read: ISAIAH 53:1-12
Meditation verse:
“Giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light” (Colossians 1:12).
In her book “7 Habits of Uncommon Achievers,” Kate McVeigh tells the story of a man who had one lifelong dream: to go on a cruise. After many years of hard work and disciplined saving, he finally purchased a ticket. The cost of the ticket used up almost all of his savings, leaving him with little money for anything else—especially food. To survive the trip, he packed his suitcase with peanut butter and crackers. While other passengers enjoyed elegant meals—steak, desserts, lavish buffets—he stood outside the dining room, watching longingly. He wished he could afford just one of those meals, but he believed his ticket only covered passage, not dining.
On the last night of the cruise, the man happened to meet the captain, who asked him how he was enjoying the trip—especially the food. Embarrassed, the man admitted, “I didn’t have enough money for the meals. I could only afford the ticket.”
The captain was stunned. “But sir,” he said, “the meals were included in the price. It was all part of the package.” He had missed out on days of abundance, not because he couldn’t afford it—but because he didn’t know what was rightfully his.
Sadly, many Christians live just like this man. They’ve received the ticket—salvation through Jesus Christ—but they’re unaware of everything that comes with it. They live far beneath their spiritual privileges, simply because they don’t know what’s included in their redemption package. Over 2,000 years ago, Jesus paid for our full salvation—through His death, burial, and resurrection.
Isaiah 53:5 declares: “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.” And 2 Corinthians 8:9 reminds us: “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.”
It’s a complete, all-inclusive package. It contains not just forgiveness of sins, but also healing, deliverance, provision, restoration, peace, and eternal life. If you are in Christ, you already have the ticket—and everything in the package is yours. If you’ve never received the ticket, it’s available to you right now—and it costs you nothing. Jesus already paid the full price.
How do you receive it?
Romans 10:9–10 says:
“If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
Would you like to receive it today? Pray this simple prayer:
“Dear Jesus, I believe that You died to save me from all my sins. Today, I invite You into my heart and accept You as my Lord and Savior. Please forgive all my sins and help me live my life for You. Amen.”
Congratulations—your ticket has been issued. Now, enjoy everything that comes with it. It’s all in the package.
