GET WITHIN THE SENSOR RANGE

Read: Exodus 14:10–18

Meditation Verse:

“And the Lord said to Moses, ‘Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward.’” (Exodus 14:15)

An automatic door does not open on its own—even if it’s clearly labeled “automatic.” You must get within the sensor range before it opens. No matter how desperate you are to enter a building, if you stand too far from the sensor, the door will remain shut.

Likewise, many of us have big dreams, divine promises, and bold prayers. Yet, we remain stuck, waiting for something miraculous to happen—while doing nothing.

God may be waiting on you to move toward the sensor range.

When the Israelites were trapped between the Red Sea and Pharaoh’s army, they cried out to God. But His response was surprising:

“Why do you cry to Me? Tell the people to go forward.”
He was saying: Move toward the door. Get close enough for the way to be revealed.

Many of us want doors of opportunity to open from a distance. But faith often requires movement.

“Getting within sensor range” might mean:

• Sending that proposal

• Following up with a phone call

• Enrolling in that course

• Showing up daily with excellence at work

• Researching and starting that business

• Volunteering in the area you’re praying about

Faith requires action.
Success happens when opportunity meets preparedness.

So this month, stop standing afar, waiting. Ask God to reveal your next step—then take it. Move with boldness. Lean in with faith.
Because when you get within sensor range, the doors will swing open.
