OUR “IN HIM” REALITIES
Read: Colossians 1:12–15
Meditation Verse:
“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace” (Ephesians 1:7)
Colossians 1:12–15 says, “Giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.”
In Christ, we are partakers of many benefits, known as our “in Him realities.”
-
“In Him we live and move and have our being” (Acts 17:28).
-
He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love (Ephesians 1:4).
-
In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will (Ephesians 1:11).
-
We are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power (Colossians 2:10).
-
For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us (2 Corinthians 1:20).
-
He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him (2 Corinthians 5:21).
-
The love of God is perfected in us. By this we know that we are in Him (1 John 2:5).
-
He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin (1 John 3:5).
-
And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life (1 John 5:20).
-
Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him (1 John 5:14–15).
What a privilege. Therefore, let us walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:10).

Have you asked Jesus Christ to come into your heart?
He says in Mathew 11:28, “come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” He longs to give you rest."
Would you like to do so now? Here’s a prayer you can say:
Dear Jesus, I believe that You died to save me from all my sins. Today, I invite you into my heart and I accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Please forgive all my sins and help me to live my life for You.
If you prayed this prayer, send me an email at rockteachingministry@gmail.com
I would love to pray with you personally and send you a copy of my book; ‘Living the Life’ to encourage you as you begin your new life in Christ.
