ASPECTS OF GOD’S GRACE (2)

Read: Titus 2:11-14

Meditation verse:

“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency, in all things, may have an abundance for every good work” (2 Corinthians 9:8).

God’s grace upon your life can be increased. You can position yourself to enjoy more grace by:

FAITH: Faith gives you access to grace. Romans 5:2 says, “through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand and rejoice in hope of the glory of God”. Faith receives what grace has already provided. To receive more of what grace has provided, increase your faith. And “faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17). So, meditate on the word.

HUMILITY: 1 Peter 5:5-6 says “…God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time”. So be humble. And guess what? You are responsible for humbling yourself, not God or anyone else.

BOLDNESS: Hebrews 4:16 says “let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need”. When you understand that God is ever willing to meet your need, you will approach Him boldly. Boldness does not mean arrogance. It is having confidence and assurance in the goodness and faithfulness of a gracious God.

SINCERITY: This means genuineness in your walk with God. Loving Him not because of what He does or will do, but because He first loved you. The more genuine you are in your relationship with Him, the more of Himself, He reveals to you and the more grace, He imparts in your life, and the more useful you will be in His kingdom.

Lastly, to enjoy more of God’s grace, keep serving Him with your gifts. Keep going. Do not let the grace of God upon your life be in vain (2 Corinthians 6:1).

IN HIS PRESENCE is written by Oke Chinye.
Have you asked Jesus Christ to come into your heart?

He says in Mathew 11:28, “come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” He longs to give you rest."

Would you like to do so now? Here’s a prayer you can say:
Dear Jesus, I believe that You died to save me from all my sins. Today, I invite you into my heart and I accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Please forgive all my sins and help me to live my life for You.

If you prayed this prayer, send me an email at rockteachingministry@gmail.com

I would love to pray with you personally and send you a copy of my book; ‘Living the Life’ to encourage you as you begin your new life in Christ.
