WHAT IS YOUR DREAM? (1)
Read: Jeremiah 1:4-10
Meditation verse:
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:10).
To identify your dream, you need to understand who you are and how you have been designed by God. Who are you? What are you passionate about? What is your area of gifting? What are your natural abilities? The psychology of individual differences argues that every individual is equipped with a unique set of gifts, abilities, strengths, passion, and personality that distinguishes him or her from the next person. These core elements must be taken into cognizance when creating a life vision or dream. Individual objects are shaped according to their use. Toothpicks, knives, forks, spoons, wheelbarrows, and mugs are all shaped according to their purposes. By looking at the form of these objects, we can guess their use. By looking at how you are wired inwards, you can have an idea of what you have been created for or what dream you should pursue.
YOUR PASSION
Your passion is the foundation of your dream. The things that you are passionate about are not random, they are at the core of who you are. The questions below will provide pointers to where your passion lies. In answering them, try not to be too analytical. Think of the first answers that come to your mind.
- Who am I? (Describe yourself with 3 adjectives)
- Where do I find my fire? What moves me to tears?
- Which of my gifts do I enjoy using the most and when am I at my best?
- What would I gladly do without a fee?
- What comes naturally to me, that I don’t need to prepare for before doing? What do I see someone doing excellently well and I admire them?
- Who are my mentors?
- What dominates my thoughts? What am I hungry for?
- What do I always want to learn?
- What kind of environment inspires me?
- What section of the bookshop am I particularly drawn to?

Have you asked Jesus Christ to come into your heart?
He says in Mathew 11:28, “come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” He longs to give you rest.
Would you like to do so now? Here’s a prayer you can say:
Dear Jesus, I believe that You died to save me from all my sins. Today, I invite you into my heart and I accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Please forgive all my sins and help me to live my life for You.
If you prayed this prayer, send me an email at rockteachingministry@gmail.com. I would love to pray with you personally and send you a copy of my book; ‘Living the Life’ to encourage you as you begin your new life in Christ.
I look forward to hearing from you.
